Amazing place for the whole family!!! Great for hiking, kayaking, and fishing!!! Such an incredible view as well. NOTE: kayaking, canoeing, and/or paddle boarding ONLY! No motorized watercraft permitted.

It is a beautiful area for all-day fishing with two piers. Pave walkway to the piers, but if you want to hike further, it's dirt.

What a great way to explore a beautiful section of the river! Lots of opportunities to view all kinds of wildlife in their natural environment. I did not try fishing during my visit, but there are quite a few docks available.

This place was beautiful and I wanted to give it a 5-stars but I had to go with 4-stars simply because so much was blocked off. It looks like there was a fire in the area a while back but much of it hasn’t regrown. Regardless, we still found the scenery beautiful as we off-roaded up and down the hills leading to the main parking location. All the gates we encountered along the way were closed as of August 2023.

We hope to go back again when we may be able to do more off-roading in the future!

What a gem. Informative. So many different types of cacti, shrubs, trees and plants. Landscape was different also. Even though it was close to the highway, we couldn't hear any traffic noise. Nice to see piers for fishing. Most of the walking trails were paved. A big bonus was that it was free.

Bill Williams River National Wildlife Refuge is a great place to visit near Lake Havasu City. There is a short trail near the visitor center with picnic areas, fishing docks, and views of Lake Havasu and the surrounding landscape. There is also a dirt road down the road that goes a few miles along the wetland area of the refuge. There was a recent fire in the wetlands however that burnt down a majority of the trees, but it still unique scenery.

This place is gorgeous. There is a really nice trail to walk on. Kayak launch ramp. Great place to watch the sunset. Beautiful birds. Fishing docks. I have since discovered a stunningly beautiful drive that is Just past the Nature Center if you're headed towards the Bill Williams Bridge; the road is called Planet Ranch Rd. (it's a right turn). It goes through the Bill Williams Wildlife Refuge. This is one of the most beautiful drives that I have ever taken. There is a HUGE forest with very tall trees there. The drive is surreal because you don't expect to see this lush forest in the middle of the desert. I HIGHLY recommend this drive!
