I was turned downed because I lived in an apartment. I beg to differ. A lot of cats are solely living at home and are perfectly happy. It is the owners who are important as regards the adoption of a cat. Even if you live in a lux house the owners could be ignorant of the cat's needs. The cat must gain trust, love and play from the owner. Subsequently, I have adopted a cat from somewhere else and I have created the home to suit the cat's needs. Play activities, trees, hideyholes and my undevoted attention because I do not work and am retired.

Very nice place, they are very helpful and friendly and will answer any questions you have about the rehoming process and how to care for your new pet. I rescued Tammy and she is loving her forever home. Thanks, rainbow for everything. I 100% recommend Rainbow rehoming Centre.

maybe a bit less time posting cheeky messages on facebook about people coming to a RESCUE centre to help RESCUE a skinny abandoned animal and then complaining about it…
also offering no other help when contacted about rehoming said animal… useless

It is ridiculous that you now have to make an appointment to see these poor homeless animals. It's no wonder they have to send them abroad or the dog warden where they have a week or two before putting the dogs to sleep. An animal shelter should be open at times where people can visit into the evening. Whereas the time here does not suit as it's 10am to 4pm.

Have done a TNR program and returned a foster I socialised feral for rehoming. An excellent charity to support in any way, whether that's monetary donations, food or blankets etc, volunteering to trap cats, foster, walk the dogs, clean/play with kittens, or give a forever home to a deserving animal.

Despite getting many cats and kittens left outdoors and forced into their care they will not allow a cat or kitten to be adopted to and indoor only home. We walk our cats on leashes outdoors where they want to go. I have lost family cats to cars off leash before and do not want the same fate for my current cats.

Because of this I cannot adopt from here. I find it ridiculous they are pushing these personal views despite there being many cat experts that agree a cat can live a perfectly healthy and fuller life indoors.

I would have loved to be able to help cats/kittens from here, but sadly, that is not possible.
