A lovely animal shelter, so great that you can visit with a small donation and see the work they do looking after all the different animals. We will adopt more cats when we can ? you can walk around and see the cat pens, bird enclosure with a big goose that loves people, dogs, goats, pigs and I think they have horses too. They’re doing such important work❤️

I have rented the exercise field here a number of times for my two greyhounds and will definitely continue to do so. The field is big enough for them to have a good zoom around, the fences are very high so it is reassuring to know they are safe and it is very reasonably priced. Thank you for providing a safe place for my hounds to have a good off lead zoom! ?

Have volunteered here for over 30 years and seen many changes.Staff and volunteers have great compassion for all the animals here,cats are my favourite and 5 of our 8 cats have come from here.I probably won't be a volunteer for another 30 years but will do it for as long as I can.

I am only speaking regarding adopting from this charity, not how the animals are looked after since I have not witnessed this.

Adopting from here seems pretty much impossible. I waited over 20 days and sent the same adoption form 3 times to them since they kept losing it (by email?!) only to be told that I was unsuccessful without explanation.

I emailed them last week after seeing that the same cat I wanted to adopt is STILL available but to no surprise did not get an answer. That's over 3 months of this poor cat sitting there when he could have moved in with me.

It is clear to me that they discriminate based on income, living situation, and perhaps even age and ethnicity because as soon as they found out I am indeed Belgian they treated me a lot differently.

If only they would care more about getting the cats to people who care about them, love and nourish them instead of going for the biggest garden amongst the applicants and leaving poor people like me to get cats from illegal breeders because that is what you do!

Making it impossible to adopt is the reason pet breeders exist and your "charity" is no different.

We use the field for our pair of Goldies one of whom is very nervous around other dogs due to being through our gate when he was a pup. They can run, play and otherwise interact safely and it is much less stressgul on him. Also contibution we make in booking help to fund the sanctuary.

My daughter had rehomed her cat here yesterday. They are really nice staff and very caring of all the animals in their care.
