I volunteered at this shelter years ago and found the staff to really go the extra mile to help the residents feel at home and enjoy their time. We put on a spa night and gave manicures and pedicures. They also have a great outdoor playground for kids.

I've been donating to and volunteering at this wonderful organization since 2011, and have witnessed firsthand true compassion and selflessness in all staff as they positively impact the lives of all clients and their children on a daily basis. I give back whenever possible, because the impact is real and witnessable

Shame on the person who left a 1 star review on a shelter for abused women solely because you don't like their rigid and consistent security policy simply because it didn't convenience you. You're doing life wrong.

This is an amazing service to abused women. Not only is Shelter provided, counselors are there to provide guidance, advice, direction and coaching. School bus service for your kids to get to school, childcare counsellors , and an on site chef who cooks your meals. Basically if you are ready to receive help and move forward with your life they have everything you need to succeed. They try to take all the stress off of you so you can get back on your feet. I will always donate to this wonderful organization.

I don’t know how they are as a shelter itself. But I just recently donated a ton of items. I was not allowed to have anything hold the door open even though there was ANOTHER door locked on the inside. I will NOT be donating again. No recognition or help from someone to carry items in. Very rude. I did something selfless only to receive selfishness back.

They need to be more compassionate about people's allergies when the allergy can potentially kill the person. They also need to believe the person who has the allergy. They also need to be more patient with their clients. And if they are uncomfortable with their one on one worker the client should be able to switch workers.

Best shelter around! This shelter saved the life of my son and I once. Won’t forget how genuine they were to us♥️
Thank you!

They pick and choose who they want to help after telling someone to leave and they would help. I was left homeless and fending for myself. Still am today. Shame on you!

The staff discriminate. Turn away people in desparate need of help. Only take in who they want. Its sad. Truly. This is supposed to be a haven.
