I love this service! I lived in an apartment building that did not compost, so I was really happy to find Compost Crew! The bin they provide is large enough that I ended up skipping a pick-up or two each month and they credited my account for each skipped service. Pickup went well, especially once we figured out where exactly I should leave my bin. You can compost a variety of products. The customer care team is responsive and helpful. The online customer portal is easy to use. Overall I'm a happy customer!

Compost Crew is a great curbside composting service with a very wide range of acceptable materials. They are reasonably priced and have great customer service. The amount of trash we generated went down to virtually nothing once we started separating our compostable waste. Highly recommend checking them out.

Great composting service! I had tried another local service that was a bit cheaper, but they could not compost as many scraps as the Compost Crew can and the organization would often cancel pickups and would not make up missed days due to holidays. Compost Crew is very flexible, they always make up whatever day is needed, are very communicative, and are just helpful in general. I unfortunately needed to cancel my service, but I'll be coming back when I'm settled in my new house 🙂

Compost crew is incredible!! they are so easy to work with, and will make sure that you are no only satisfied with their services but also will go above and beyond to make sure that composting fits well in your life, not matter if you live in an house, apartment building, are looking to use it for your business, etc. As a college student, I did not think composting in DC would be possible as there is no service directly through the city, but Compost Crew made this possible. I’ve used Compost Crew for 4 years and I love the service. They are responsive and dependable. And I feel really good diverting food waste from the landfill, producing compost instead of methane! Plus the actual trash is so much lighter and less stinky this way.
