Ohhhh ? yum! Found my favorite breakfast in DeLand ❤️ This unassuming little location has limited hours and I would assume is busy the whole time they are open. The food is great and the portions are huge. Prices are reasonable. It is somewhere that can satisfy the larger of appetites with lots of flavor. Even though they were very busy the service was fast, very friendly, and encouraged our party to relax and enjoy. I will without a doubt go here again. ❤️I ordered the mess(bread choice biscuit)and would be remiss not to warn you that, although you will be compelled by the flavor to finish it in 1 sitting, it can put you in food coma ? (I slept so good) ❤️ One mistake I made was not to order a side of their delicious gravy. Next time. Check out the pics and give me a like if this helps you. ?

Doesn’t look like much from the outside but this local mini chain (3 or 4 locations) is a must stop for breakfast. Try the chicken and waffles, a southern tradition. The wait staff is fast and friendly. Only open till 2pm.

I think it's important to note that none of the staff wore masks and don't believe I've seen another reviewer mention this. I know this can be a turn off from potential first time customers.

First time stopping by from Apopka. Stopped by approx 1pm on a Saturday with my daughter (they close at 2pm). Ordered pancakes (w/ choc chips), eggs, bacon (one from kids menu and one adult entree), 2 waters, and a coffee.

Order came out quick.

8yr LOVED the PLENTIFUL amount of choc chips on her pancakes. And gave it a higher rating than iHops version. The bacon was nice and CRISPY the way we both like it. The eggs were a bit cold for my liking, but tasted fine. Suspect they may have been cooked ahead of time to save time. Daughter tried the water before me and immediately commented about how it tasted odd/chlorine. Common issue in some restaurants here in Florida, but thought I mention it anyway. They could use a water softener/reverse osmosis. Coffee was decent. The waitress checked back often. Restaurant was clean, good atmosphere.

Waited 15 minutes for a drink order placed food order and 20 minutes later still no breakfast stuck in the corner to be forgotten. Sat there a total of 35 minutes with no breakfast. We walked out not happy and went to IHOP. I really wish it was still Mr.Lucky's all though the original sign is hung on the wall. Our breakfast was great at IHOP ?

Waffles are always on point . Got the chicken and waffles this time and the chicken was a little over cooked but I still ate it.better than ihop. Coffee is always great too
