This was a nice little find today. It's a small refuge and there's not a lot of animals but the people are very kind and they care very much for the animals they have. They give all the wildlife plenty of room in their enclosures. We were lucky to have a guided tour of the place and our tour guide, Ryan, did a great job. He apologized for the construction with the upgrades going on but we were thrilled they were still open and doing upgrades for the animals. Make sure to donate and help them out!

We enjoyed taking the little ones to this site. They enjoyed the animals and they really enjoyed the park afterwards. I would recommend planning a group visit, the children enjoyed showing each other the various animals.

Also the GPS takes you the wrong way to enter so look for the sign that says Pioneer Park, I took a picture to help you find the entrance just in case you get lost. We definitely would recommend this place as we do our walking tours of Downtown Sebring.

Wildlife reserve. I have this 4 stars because it was a personal tour and the guide was very knowledgeable and took her time to walk us through. They have two new fawns on ground. Under construction. They are improving the park. It’s a very small zoo, but they work hard to keep it up. It’s cheap to visit, $3 for 5 and up. Make an appointment to visit. Be sure to bring water to hydrate in this heat. They do have a water fountain at the entrance.

Great little place we found while stopping at the restaurant across the street. Cheap entrance fee, less than 5 bucks for adults. The walk around was all on a boardwalk from an elevated vantage point. We were only there about 30 minutes.if that but great place if you just happen to be passing by which we were on our way to Mayakka River State Park and Venice Beach.

Wonderful little gem in an Old Florida setting in a sleepy little town! Definitely one of those best kept secret kind of places that is great for an inexpensive, educational afternoon to spend with the kids and teach them about wildlife! This is a no frills kind of place, but the staff is super friendly and very kind.

This is an excellent legacy for rescued animal's. We could spend and hour or two watching and learning. Take cash for entry or additional fee for using card. Very friendly staff. We would stop and visit bargain. Inside Pioneer park towards the back. Thank you!

Took a five and eight year old on the walking tour through the wildlife refuge today. It was amazing and the kids loved it! There was a huge tortoise, deer, a bear, bobcats, an alligator, otter, and a lot of birds. Shady boardwalk and well worth the time! Thank you for a fun afternoon!
