so glad to have found you, had young hedgehog injured took to this person was so kind it was out of hours as well but nothing but kind to me and son in law ,she does so much with no funding cant believe it they are so well cared for i know its in best place to be to get better and be returned to wild if possible,so much love and caring she puts into them she deserves funding for it,she works so hard to get these little creatures back to the wild if possible if not to a good home its sad she isnt getting funding for it when she deserves it so much for all her hard work and time they are well looked after and kept clean and safe and well fed so lucky to have her, thank you for taking the little one bubba as we called it as didnt know sex in would have died with out her help THANK YOU SO MUCH

Found a youngster on Friday night, rang the hedgehog rescue on their late night number. Advised on overnight care and then safely deposited it with them on Saturday morning. Hopefully it makes a full recovery at the hands of these wonderful people.

Jean is doing a wonderful job here. We phoned in the evening after finding a hedgehog that was struggling. Nothing was too much trouble. They took "Bailey" in immediately and thanks to the TLC that she received from them she is now returned, fit & well, to her usual habitat. They also had quite a few orphaned babies at the time so it may be worth checking with them if you are suitable for giving a hedgehog a home. These people go above and beyond to look after a species that is currently very much at risk.

Nothing but praise and gratitude for Jean and her team. Lovely people who care passionately for these often hard done to creatures.

I found a young hedgehog in daylight on a busy car park, I took it home and rang the local vets in Freckleton, I was told, to my surprise that I would be charged for them to look at it or I should get the RSPCA to give me a log number and they could pay! What a good way to put people off trying to do their best for injured wildlife, shame on those vets who behave in this way.

Jean was fab and she arranged for Dave ( equally fab ) to collect the hedgehog and take him to to her house to be cared for, wonderful people!

By some bizarre coincidence the day after I found another young hedgehog out in daylight, again Jean was lovely and agreed to take this one in too. She has excellent, clean and comfortable surroundings in her hospital / rehabilitation centre (also her home). A huge thank you, you’re doing a wonderful thing!
