We booked an alpaca walk for my mum's 60th birthday. Callum guided us around on the walk and answered all of our questions about the farm and the alpacas. The scenery was beautiful and the walk was not too challenging for a family day out. Fudge, Magic, Chip and Jet were the perfect companions! Thank you Callum, for a fun day out!

Great time walking the alpacas. However, only 1 hour walk and fields extremely muddy so would recommend wellies. No refreshments offered with ticket - had to pay so be prepared. Would go again when weather is better

After waiting several months to go thanks to the pandemic, finally had our Alpaca walk this afternoon. Weather was miserable but thankfully the rain held off for the actual walk. Impressed with the whole set up. Alpacas were given out to everyone, we were expecting to share so that was a nice surprise. The two ladies who greeted us were very friendly and informative. The scenery is fabulous and it was a delight taking it all in and chatting to the rest of the party. Although we only had hot drinks, the cafe is very nice done. Would recommend

We found this place purely by chance when we were looking at Google maps for somewhere different to go for an afternoon.
My wife had always fancied doing a 'Walk With Llama/Alpacas experience so we thought we'd give it a go.
Booking online was easy, a range of options was easy to follow. Directions to find it were also on the website and we found the place without any problems.
We bought some bags of food and hand fed our alpacas as an introduction to them before going on a short walk around the paddock they have.
The place is lovely and quiet, and tucked away in the countryside.
We had booked afternoon tea after our meet and greet experience and when we went to the cafe there it was already set up for us and it was lovely.
We really enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend it for anyone who has fancied doing that kind of thing.
Thank you Oakmere Alpacas for a lovely afternoon.

Lovely experience and our young guide Poppy was so lovely and informative. The walk was perfect and good value. Just one negative the lady who runs it seemed miffed that we booked on Groupon and even though my granddaughter was only 4 and didn’t have an Alpaca she insisted we paid £10 extra for her ? which was really annoying but what could we do!! So would we come again not sure.

It was a really nice day out, the place is very pretty. There is a café in site. My partner and I were on a walk with a family of 4 and a single guide, not that you could possibly get lost. It took our group an hour start to finish. The track isn't too muddy and the ground isn't too uneven, however there are slightly muddy sections as you pass through various gates.
We were offered the option to purchase some bags of feed, it was recommended that we buy 2 each at £1.50. We only bought one each and my partner's alpaca kept bugging her for more feed so she finished her bag quite quickly, I on the other hand had plenty left by the end of the walk and was allowed to feed any alpaca in the stable at the end of the walk.
My only criticism would be that it could've been good to have a quick orientation at the start, just how to handle the alpacas and whatnot since we were just handed the leads and then we were off. Also, at the end of the walk there wasn't much fanfare. They more or less just put the alpacas away and left, it left us wondering for a moment if we were really done or not. Just a little "Well ok, I hope you've had a lovely time, thank you so much for coming, there's a café over there..." that kind of thing.

All in all, we really enjoyed ourselves out was just a really cute wholesome day out.
