Such a wonderful place! It’s so lovely to see these pigs, goats and chickens living their best life in the woods. The tour was very informative and it was nice to hear all their individual stories. There’s a little cafe to get vegan friendly drinks, snacks and merch. You can even adopt the animals too! We’ll definitely visit again in the future ?

Great eco mini farm where you can get up close with. Variety of pigs and miniature goats.

Obviously you have to exercise caution with such large animals but they seem to be fairly chilled.

LFriendly staff and always looking for volunteers to get up close and feed the animals and administer medicine.

Will take 16-17 year old volunteers as well as adults.

The only thing against it is the parking which you need to run up kerbs to park on the path for. Road is wide enough but obviously comes with risk.

Definitely not wheelchair friendly, the entrance is up a narrow wooden staircase

Parking - easy, you can park on the main road right outside.

I absolutely loved visiting here at the weekend. The volunteers take you around the woods, and you have a chance to walk around and see all the pigs and goats. There is an eating area there as well as a little shop. Sells basics like hot and cold drinks, cakes, and crisps. They take card via PayPal but essier to take cash. You can also buy food for £1 to feed the pigs and goats. Everyone is a volunteer, and all money goes back into looking after the animals. They also host a number of events throughout the year. The staff are amazing and friendly and provide lots of information about the animals.

It is muddy! Wear wellies! Old trainers will not do. Take spare clothes and a black bag for when you get back in the car and spare shoes.

Only amazing things to say, don't think ill eat a bacon sandwich again either! Thank you for a fab afternoon

Up close and personal with rescued pigs and goats. The tour was informative, giving us the background on each pigs history. Most of them can free roam and you can bring your own food to feed them. Carrots or bananas work best as you can just drop it in their mouth. However, watch your feet though as piggy stepped on mine 🙂

Brilliant place to visit run by fantastic volunteers for a great cause., A good place to see pigs, goats and chickens in a more natural environment. Fantastic vegan food ( the peanut butter cupcakes and coffee is awesome) and the animals are so happy.

I will admit it can be a bit overwhelming at times as the pigs are very large animals and can be a little scary especially if you are feeding them at the end as the pigs can crowd you and some of the goats can headbutt you and one goat, in particular, does knock over kids but the volunteers are great and do warn you in advance, and the most temperamental animals are secured while visitors are in. If you just give the animals plenty of space, don't hem yourself or the pigs in you'll be okay, but is worth considering before visiting with very young kids.

Fantastic! I have always loved pigs in the wood but since having children and finding myself forced to places that perpetuate animal capitalism and the cruel meat industry I feel this is the perfect sanctuary. I’m going to take my daughter here regularly so she knows the difference between how these beautiful sentient pigs should live and how they are often forced to.

Thank you for a fantastic tour! Pig belly rubs are the cutest and they’re great with hygiene and reminding us and the children how to understand and treat/touch the pigs/goats and also about handwashing etc. I highly recommend!
