These people are fabulous and caring. Took a couple of bags of towels/toys/leads etc, and they were so grateful. I took Rufus in to show them, cos I've had him nearly 12 years, from them.

We picked up our beautiful 6 year old Cocker, Willow, from Coxhoe Stray Aid just three day ago....and the staff were absolutely marvellous. I'd been in contact with them since she was handed over to them...they kept me updated by phone, and they paid for her double hernia op, spayed her and tested her with flea and worm tablets....and the amount of excellent qudlity food we saw in the foyer was just astounding....first rate . X

It's taken us a while to get another dog after the death of our beautiful Bella in May, we felt it was time now. The We went to see Lucy a few days ago and today we brought her home. She got on straight away with our 2 grandpups. She is good on a lead and the we've only had her less than a day we adore her.
The staff at Coxhoe are friendly and helpful and genuinely care for their charges. Why oh why do people get dogs and then just abandon them?

No out of hours number to contact them, as we could have gone and collected Our dog, instead of him being kept overnight in a kennel. Then they didn't get back to us. Until 10:30am ISH. And once we pick him up he was dirty and stinking of urine, and cried all. Day and night.

Went for a visit yesterday to meet Lex, German Shepherd.
Appointments must be made owing to Covid but that really wasn't a problem, in fact a little more organised in my opinion.
I got to have a good chat to Lee, the manager, who took time to tell me about strayaid and what they do and also Lex and how he arrived, this gave me a good opportunity to discuss my situation, which I felt Lee listen to and understood.
After, we went outside to a secure meeting area and Lex was brought out. He's a lovely natured German Sheppard, a bit daft but very friendly, it was slightly damp & he smelt of wet dog, I must admit it was lovely ?
The handler who brought him out was very nice too and clearly connected well with Lex.
I will need to take a few days to decide
